fun boat ride

My parents were in Seattle last weekend for a visit. After getting them to chauffeur me around in their vehicle to buy a sweet new Apple Cinema Display and some fancy new towels from Crate & Barrel, we took the ferry out to Bainbridge Island:

Pretty much it was an exercise in gluttony. We started off lunch with halibut and chips and finished with huge ice cream cones. This was all after watching Super Size Me with horror the evening before. The dude gained like 25 pounds in one month!

I’ve decided after this past weekend that if I move back to Seattle, I’ll seriously consider opening a good club with good music. At least Sugar was pretty enough to look at, but now it’s gone and we’re back to the dive clubs of Seattle. Sigh.
