I think that's how you say "retail therapy" in Esperanto, or at least that's what I came up with from this translator thing. I probably don't have the grammar right though. I didn't bother looking that part up.
I can be kind of an impulsive person, so shopping to try to cure my transitional remorse was probably a bad idea. Oh well. At least I got some nice new clothes out of it.
Apart from the shopping I had a kind of crazy weekend. Of course I had a usual evening of binge drinking on the Purr-Sugar circuit (why do I keep doing this to myself?). Then Saturday was Fremont Oktoberfest where I sampled about 8 different beers in a very small cup. Restraint wasn't imposed by myself per se -- the tasting glasses were so small and the lines so long that one couldn't help but limit consumption. I heard a pretty good band called Siberian. The bass player was stupidly attractive.
We had a brief taste of the approaching monsoon season last week in Seattle, but this weekend was incredible. I love warm fall days that turn crisp at night. I had a nap in the sun on my sofa today. It was heaven. Tonight I think I'm going to make cookies and watch Spider-man 2. Tomorrow I have to punish myself (at the gym) for a weekend full of abusing my body and retail therapy.

I like them too, nice shoes tonto. Cookies and gym are the kick I'm on now trying to beat this nagging feeling that corporate Canada has forgotten me.
