Saturday Shopping Whore

Somehow I bought a lot of stuff today. I don't know how it happened. It just did. And at the end of the day, I was rewarded with an amazing sunset outside my window.

It all started with a quick trip to Amazon.com while eating toast and drinking coffee. Before I knew it, I had the following stuffed into my shopping cart:

  • Triple format external DVD burner. I got one with Firewire too. Wheee!
  • 50-pack of DVD+R recordables.
  • LCD screen cleaner. I squished a bug on my screen a little while ago and it got pretty gross.

It'll all be here in a week or so. Super. Then I went to the gym - I had to punish myself for such gratuitous spending. My gym was closed for some reason though, so I decided I should probably just go do some more shopping. I went up to Capitol Hill and wandered in to American Apparel and walked out with a new hoody and a new jacket. Yay me!

Then I went into a wine store and picked up a bottle of 2001 Eric Texier Châteuneuf-du-Pape Réserve Improbable. It sounds lovely. I'm going up to Victoria next weekend to visit Murray and thought we could drink this one together. Oh yeah and then I bought some chicken. Oh and then I went to the Aveda store and picked up some delicious smelling shaving cream.

I think that's pretty much it. I forgot how much fun retail therapy can be.

Wow, that's a shopping binge. Sounds like fun. I did the same thing while M&D were in India and sent them home with a bag full of my stuff.
