Busted Washer Machine

My 70s washer machine broke down last week.

I called my landlord today and was like "wtf? did you fix it yet?". Of course, the answer was "no, sorry". Unfortunately it broke at a time when I had a huge pile of dirty laundry, so now I'm pretty much all out of clean underwear. Suck. Maybe I'll hand wash? Seriously, I love my place here, but my landlord is a total loser. A real knee-biter.

I checked out my brother's blog the other day and found this masterpiece. Fabulous. Reading Nicholas' blog makes me realize how boring my life right now can be. Let's face it: having a "real job" can be a pretty boring lifestyle. I'm not sure how I could change that though. At least not right now.

I don't think your life is boring. I'd kill for a nice diner party and some wine right now. We pretty much are in the same situation actually, I do all my laundry by hand in a bucket too. My tip is to use hot water and let is soak for 30 min before rinsing. This gets rid of most of the smell however stains will stick with you. All of my clothes are currently piled at the foot of my bed on the floor and every morning I smell my way through to see what is wearable still. Ahhh, what a life.

    hey,
at least you have some money to make you less bored. why don't you treat yourself to a massage. that would be relaxing.
hey, and why don't you replace the word boring with the word relaxing.
when you want to say, wow, this is a boring evening of picking lint out from between my toes, you should say, wow is my life ever relaxing.

okay, okay, maybe that won't work completely, but whatever...maybe i will try that too!
