Hello from the West Coast
I’m currently enjoying a lazy Sunday morning in my place on the west coast. I’m actually still in bed. My place here is great; for those of you who haven’t been here yet, I found an old warehouse space in the old part of Seattle that I’m living in. I will post pictures some time. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a lazy Sunday, except for my serious lack of a sofa right now.
I just got back from my trip to Toronto/London (the British one), which was fantastic. The weather in Toronto was beautiful when I was there (25 degrees!), but unfortunately my stay there felt rather short. I still made it out to my two favourite restaurants on Queen West though. Ryan and I flew on to London and had a quick trip on the train up to Sheffield to visit Wendy, then we had 3 or so days in London. It was a short trip, but I think London would be a great place to live and work for a year. We generally did a lot of quick sightseeing in London and a lot of going out and partying. Our hotel room was hilariously small (we called it The RV because it was so small and it had a drop-in, pre-fabricated bathroom like in an RV), so we generally didn’t spend too much time in it.
